Linton's Family Attractions

Linton's has many unique attractions for kids of all ages, many of which are free including our petting zoo, exotic bird aviary, and kid's playground! Train rides, swan paddle boat, gemstone mining, shooting gallery and other adventurous attractions are all priced individually and are per person. Stop by the Customer Service Counter to purchase your tickets. Group discounts are available.

Enchanted Express Train

$4.99 per person

Enjoy a fun, relaxing narrated tour of our 9 acre Garden Centre aboard Linton's Enchanted Express Train. We'll traverse past our display beds, through our plant nursery, around our pond, past the petting zoo and inside the train tunnel before pulling up to the Train Depot.

• Each rider must purchase a $4.99 ticket at the Customer Service Counter inside our Interior Decor Shoppe.
• The Easter Eggspress and the Pumpkin Patch Express train rides are $6.99 per person and include an Easter Goodie Bag or a small pumpkin.
• Children under 1 year are free with a paying adult.
• Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• The narrated train ride lasts approximately 15-20 minutes.
• After purchasing your ticket, take it to the Train Depot for the attraction attendant.

Japanese Koi Feeding

Before you head out to the pond, you can pick up fish food, from customer service, for 99 cents. This activity brings fun and giggles to all who do it! The pond is home to a variety of koi colors and sizes.

Pedal Go Karts

$3.99 per person

Weave in and around the trees while racing around the track with the foot powered pedal cars.

• Each rider must purchase a $3.99 ticket at the Customer Service Counter inside our Interior Decor Shoppe.
• Ride is for adults and children (five years and older.)
• Only one person per go kart. (No children allowed on lap.)
• No crashing into the wall or bumping other drivers.
• This attraction lasts for 5 minutes.
• After purchasing your ticket, take it to the Train Depot for the attraction attendant.
• Linton's is not liable for any injury.

Hand Pedal Train Ride

$3.99 per person

Zip around the train track with our unique hand peddle cars. See how many times you can make it around! Race against your friends or family!

• Each rider must purchase a $3.99 ticket at the Customer Service Counter inside our Interior Decor Shoppe.
• Ride is for children eight years and older.
• Adults may only ride on the red "adult train car".
• This attraction lasts for 5 minutes.
• After purchasing your ticket, take it to the Train Depot for the attraction attendant.

Free Kids Tree House

Bring the kids and let them explore the tree house at no charge. They can climb up inside the tree, then back down on the spiral slide, or swing from the extended branch! The tree house also has a talk tube and look out window. Located in the southwest area of the Garden Centre.

Gemstone Mining

Pan for jewels at the gemstone mine! We have several different assortments available starting at $7.99 - $22.99 per bag.  A free gemstone identification card is included. Select and purchase your gem bag at the Customer Service Counter inside our Interior Decor Shoppe.

Free Petting Zoo & Bird Aviary

Visiting our furry and feathered animal friends is FREE! Feeding them only cost two quarters! Sit in the shade and relax while watching our 4 legged friends. Our Petting Zoo is located in the southwest area of our Garden Center.

• Please enjoy our animals!
• Petting and feeding is done at your own risk. Please do not feed your fingers or popcorn to the animals, for it makes them sick!
• Please do not feed the pigs! They are on a controlled diet so we can keep them healthy.

Quad Cycle Family Bike - Temporarily Unavailable

$3.99 per group of up to 4

Wow! A bike that seats up to 4 people. Take an enjoyable bike tour of our gorgeous Garden Centre, peddle around Lake Linton. Travel past the Petting Zoo, then zoom through the train tunnel.

• Quad cycle is for ONLY 4 persons at a time. (No children allowed on laps)
• One person per seat.
• No standing allowed on back of Quad Cycle.
• Each group must purchase a $3.99 ticket at the Customer Service Counter inside the Interior Decor Shoppe.
• One $3.99 ticket may be used for admission for up to 4 people.
• Hands and feet must remain in the Bike at all times.
• The length of the attraction is one 'loop' around Linton's Garden Centre.
• Return the Quad Cycle to the Train Depot at end of second lap.
• The Quad Cycle is not meant to carry plants or other garden center items, it is only for recreational use.
• After purchasing your ticket, take it to the train depot for the attraction attendant.
• Linton's is not liable for any injury.

Butterfly & Hummingbird Garden

New for 2024, is our Butterfly & Hummingbird Garden! It features a variety of perennial plants that attract pollinators and wildlife. If you visit throughout the season, you'll be able to see each type of plant take it's turn blooming. The sections are labelled with plant names and what kind of wildlife they attract.

Shooting Gallery

 Try your luck at shooting the moving targets, or the roosting chicken, or any of the other varmints in the Shooting Gallery. Located in our Annual House.

Swan Paddle Boat

$3.99 per person

Take a relaxing tour around Lake Linton aboard the Swan Paddle Boat. Watch the resident Koi follow you around the pond. Fits up to a family of 5!

• Each rider must purchase a $3.99 ticket at the Customer Service Counter inside our Interior Decor Shoppe.
• All Swan Paddle Boat guests must wear life vests.
• Swan Paddle Boat guests must remain seated at all times.
• Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult on the Swan Paddle Boat.
• Swan Paddle Boat rides are for up to four guests and last for 5 minutes.
• After purchasing your ticket, take it to the Train Depot for the attraction attendant.
• Linton's is not liable for any injury.

Attractions will close due to weather conditions, particularly rain, high winds and/or lightning.  Please call ahead to verify attraction availability.  Linton's makes every effort to reopen the attractions as quickly and safely as possible after the adverse conditions cease.
